Hide until previous task is completed
When completing your tasks, you may come across notes that have multiple tasks. If you have more than two notes with the same task for different projects, you may not want them all to show up in your task selector when you're viewing your calendar. In this case, a "hide until previous task" option would be very helpful for many people.

Lucian Adminđź‘‹ To all plugin developers:
Amplenote has allocated up to $1,000 to be paid to a developer who implements this idea effectively enough to generate 700 plugin installs or 15 upvotes (whichever comes first). Email lucian@amplenote.com for more details on the terms. Developers must reside within a country that can legally receive payments from the US. -

Lucian AdminHmm, taking a second look at this @Mahmoud and And @Alejandro, it seems like we don't really have all of the necessary support in the Plugin API.

I interpreted the request as "always hide all tasks from a note except the first one" and "automatically unhide the second task from a note once the first one is completed". The reason this is not achievable _elegantly_ via Plugin API is because we don't have triggers (eg. an action that executes once "something" - eg a task being completed) happens in the app. I think triggers are a long way off, because of the implications around multiple devices executing the same plugin code, etc.
So really, if I interpreted this correctly, the best implementation would be to have an "insertText" plugin that can only be executed inside tasks and that lets you "special-complete" a task, that is it will mark the task as complete and unlock the next one in its note. Presumably the same plugin would have a "noteOption" that hides all of the tasks first. -
